Art Roho feat. Lucy Luan & Nicolai Kornerup
This collaboration presents a previously unheard fusion of Nordic folk, traditional Chinese music, and jazz. Featuring Lucy Luan on the Guzheng, the music creates a distinctive atmosphere, showcasing a blend of instrumentation and styles. It takes listeners on a journey through variety of sonic landscapes transporting them across the globe.
Art Roho first met Lucy in China in 2022, where they performed together. The encounter sparked an immediate curiosity about the creative possibilities of this uncommon combination. Recognizing the potential, Art Roho invited Nicolai Kornerup to join the collaboration. With his exquisite touch and inspirations drawn from classical music, klezmer, and Nordic folk, Nicolai proved to be the perfect addition to the project.
Since then, the collaboration has recorded an album (set for release soon), completed a two-week tour in Denmark, and embarked on a three-week tour across China.
